Lauryn Hill has walked free following three months of jail time. The singer song writer/rapper served the time for tax evasion. The former Fugees, who sang her rendition of the hit Killing Me Softly has finally walked away from the minimum security Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut on Friday morning on October 4, 2013.
She had been placed in jail on July 8th, 2013. She didn’t’t file her taxes between the years of 200 and 2007. She has marked her freedom by the release of her new track Consumerism, which will be feature on her next album Letters From Exile.
